DIRECT AID ASSOCIATION (DAA) is a non-governmental charitable organization registered in the Republic of Armenia since November 7, 1997.

Its purpose and objectives are:

1. To support the organization and implementation of the Hospital School projects, working with both hospitalized children and outpatients of the Arabkir United Medical Center (JMC), the Institute of Child and Adolescent Health (ICAH) and the Pediatric Department of the Hematology Hospital.

2. The Hospital School aims to identify the educational needs of sick children and serve them throughout the entire period of hospitalization. On average, 800-1200 children benefit from the services of the Hospital School annually.

3. The Hospital School offers a special educational program for each child. Upon admission, the teachers of the Hospital School assess the child's abilities and needs in order to create an individual program that meets the child's level of knowledge and needs. Due to the chronic nature of the disease, many of our students have missed several days of school and may need a specially designed program to fill the gaps.
