The humanitarian foundation “Für Armenien” operating in Armenia is a voluntary organization of the German non-profit association “Für Armenien”, whose head office is in Berlin.

At the initiative of the “Für Armenien” charitable foundation and with the support of the “Austrian Development Agency”, the project “Eco Village Krashen: Krashen as a Center for Sustainable Tourism” was implemented.

As a result of the project, the entire territory of the new village of Krashen was illuminated with 45 smart photovoltaic street lamps, the Krashen-St. Sargis pilgrimage trail was cleaned, improved and marked, information signs were installed along the road, turning it into a fully equipped hiking trail.

Thanks to the project, the village became an attractive and bright tourist center for both locals and visitors
