The Yalkezian Foundation conducts humanitarian work in Armenia and surrounding areas, for the advancement of education, preservation of the environment, promotion of health, and relief of poverty. "FULLER CENTER FOR HOUSING" CNGO

The Fuller Center for Housing Armenia is a covenant partner of the Fuller Center for Housing, established in the spring of 2005. After 29 years of unwavering and tireless service to the poor with Habitat for Humanity, Millard Fuller, the founder and president of Habitat for Humanity, was motivated to expand his vision of eliminating substandard housing worldwide.

The Fuller Center for Housing Armenia was registered in the spring of 2008. It is a non-governmental charitable organization that supports community development in the Republic of Armenia by assisting in building and renovating simple, decent, and affordable homes as well as advocating the right to a decent shelter as a matter of conscience and action.

In Marseilles, a group of people are organizing themselves by trying to meet, at their level, the most basic needs of a population in distress. The association ALTITUDE 5165 was born.

The Armenian diaspora around the world, through its organizations, would assist the disaster in an unprecedented spirit of solidarity. With the remarkable help of the local authorities, which will provide them with considerable logistical resources, these organisations will urgently collect essential products and deliver them by all means. But Armenia is sinking into chaos: the fall of the Soviet empire and the breakdown of its economy, the almost immediate outbreak of the Karabakh war, and the blockade imposed by Azerbaijan and Turkey, coupled with the tragedy of the earthquake, are causing the collapse of the entire industrial, economic, and social fabric of Armenia, leaving the Armenian population in extreme destitution. Faced with this situation, in Marseille, a group of people from all walks of life, who are already heavily involved in emergency aid, decide to continue their commitment. Together with the premises of the Armenian Youth Cultural Centre in France, they organize themselves very quickly by trying to meet, at their level, the most basic needs of a population in distress. The association ALTITUDE 5165 was born.
